Data & Corrections Policy
What we publish
We publish professional and business information only: names, credentials, specialty, clinic name, address, phone number, website, languages spoken, and accepting-new-patients status. We do not publish personal information such as home addresses, personal phone numbers, or personal email addresses.
Where data comes from
Sources include BC open government datasets (Open Government Licence – BC), health authority websites, and clinics' own public websites. Each record stores its source, which is displayed on the profile page.
For physicians and clinics: corrections and removal
If information about you or your clinic is wrong, use the “Report a correction / request removal” link on the listing, or contact us. Corrections are reviewed against public sources. If you ask for your listing to be removed, we will remove it — we don't require a reason. Requests are processed in our weekly review cycle, usually sooner.
Accuracy limits
Availability changes daily and clinics don't always update their public information. That's why every status shows its verification date, and stale statuses are marked unconfirmed. Always call the clinic to confirm before relying on any listing.
